Communion service this morning was with the participation of the little ones. Beautiful. Some had cut outs of animals and prayed for St. Francis to protect all pets. When they prayed for the intentions, the teacher was standing next to them and she raised the arm of each of the children so that the rest would answer. It was funny! Ok. That is enough about Indy. Father what a trip. Just a few days and it seems so full of "contenido". People stories, visiting an island, and ex prison and seeing whales! Saludos!

4th graders at St Philip Neri are enjoying learning more about South Africa through your trip. They have plenty of questions, here are a few....
ReplyDeleteWhat are the schools like there? Do the students wear uniforms, have grade levels like ours, and learn similar things we learn?
Are there any dangerous animals you need to look out for?
How do you get to places? Do you take a car, bus, or something else? How do most people there get where they need to go?
What types of food are you eating? What is the common foods they have in their meals?
What type of money do they use to pay for things?
Do people hunt/garden for their own food or shop at grocery stores? What are grocery stores like there?
We can't wait to learn more. Thank you for sharing!
Fr.Chris, are their snakes over their in South Africa?
